All Electric Cylinder Directories feature cylinders that are 8" in diameter by 43"
tall. These cylinders are driven by 115 volt A.C gear motors controlled by

the cylinders advance a short distance then stop, giving you access to additional
information during your search. The process can be repeated as many times as
needed.

- Rotating cylinders controlled by electric eyes
- Switches control the motor functions and are mounted inside the window glass
- Housing unit has a 5 component Sto Classic Exterior System applied to the surface of 14 gauge sand blasted steel
- Finish coat is a rough troweled application
- Sto finishes offer weather, fade, mildew, and crack resistance in addition to washability
- Name area can be accessed through the window glass, which can be removed without difficulty
- Housing needs to be installed and anchored down to a concrete base pad; electrical system is 115 A.C and needs to be wired to a 10 amp disconnect and wired to local codes.

The above models were designed to accommodate larger cemeteries. Windy Prairie also
offers a Mechanical (manual) Directory with Rotating
Cylinder Displays for medium
to large sized cemeteries without access to electricity. The mechanical
display also features four rotating 8” cylinders controlled and driven by four
external hand knobs. Theses knobs are below the cylinders and are easily turned
by hand to access the information stored on the cylinders. Mechanical
Directories are made with the same care and durable materials as Electric Directories.
